matchboxes and porcelain jewellery

As well as making laser cut decorations, I also make and paint porcelain ceramic jewellery. This began when I had a part share in a pop up shop in Blackburn town centre. I began making brooches ( I do love a good brooch!), this expanded quickly into earrings and necklaces.

These are all slightly different, some are glazed in vibrant colours and have striking tube-lined designs on them, others have designs impressed into the surface of the clay and remain unglazed  and washed with underglaze colours.

Some are painted onto flat (-ish) shapes and painted with vibrant colours and ceramic lustres and metals.

The one thing that all of these have in common is that they are stored in little handmade matchboxes!

Each one of these little boxes is made by hand from reclaimed card and available through my etsy store at www.elizabemmenswilson.etsy.com
